The Methodology

1

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to ask questions, make mistakes, and share their ideas without fear of being judged. Whether we’re discussing a composition topic, a favourite movie, a football match, or a funny classroom moment, I use genuine conversations to build trust and confidence. Once students feel heard, their writing naturally becomes more expressive, thoughtful, and authentic.

My goal is not simply to produce better essays… it is to help students find their own voice.

2

Beyond Teaching

When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book, exploring new cafés, laughing at terrible puns, or getting far too invested in fictional characters.

These interests often find their way into my lessons too. Some of the best conversations—and writing ideas—come from discussing stories, hobbies, and everyday experiences.

I enjoy getting to know my students as people, not just learners, because strong relationships create stronger learning.

3

Why Students Enjoy My Lessons

Many students come to me feeling intimidated by English. They worry about making mistakes, running out of ideas, or writing essays that never seem “good enough.”

I focus on building a genuine connection with every student. By understanding their interests, strengths, and challenges, I can tailor lessons that feel engaging rather than overwhelming.

When students feel comfortable, they become more willing to take risks, ask questions, and express themselves creatively, and that is where real progress happens.

“While exam performance is important, I believe the deeper goal of English education is helping students communicate clearly, think critically, and express themselves with confidence. Strong grades are often a natural result of those skills.”
